Five Things That Feel Like Self-Care (Even If You Only Have 5 Minutes)

Let’s be real: spa days and long bubble baths are dreamy… but most days? We’re lucky if we get to pee alone.

So here are five little things I do that remind me I matter, even in the chaos:

  1. Drink my coffee hot (or at least reheat it and sit down while I sip it).
  2. Light a candle in the kitchen while I clean up — makes it feel less like a chore, more like a vibe.
  3. Put on real lotion, not just the emergency diaper bag kind.
  4. Send a funny meme to a mom friend who gets it.
  5. Look in the mirror and say: “You are doing a good job.” (Because I need to hear it. And maybe you do too.)

That’s it. No Pinterest board needed. Just me, doing what I can — one little win at a time.
